A Mother’s True Test Tube Story (12): Finally Waiting for Embryo Transfer

After waiting for so long, I learned that I could not do fresh embryo transfer.

In principle, eggs will be taken on October 8 and transplanted on October 11.

On the day of egg retrieval, more than 15 sisters and sisters with high progesterone level have been clearly told that fresh embryos cannot be removed and frozen embryos must be removed, but all of them know the fertilization and embryo conditions 3 days later.

On October 11, after 3 days of injection, I was still told by the doctor to cancel the transplantation of fresh embryos because the progesterone on the day of my night injection was 2.58, which exceeded the standard.

As the name implies, fresh embryo is a fresh embryo, which refers to the early embryo cultured in the laboratory. Frozen embryos are frozen by a special method and then thawed before transplantation.

Generally, when there is no abnormality, fresh embryos will be transferred. However, if there are endometrial lesions (such as endometrial polyps, intrauterine adhesions, etc.), high progesterone level on hCG day is not conducive to embryo implantation, or the number of eggs obtained exceeds 20, and the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome is very high, the whole embryo will be frozen and frozen embryo transfer will be carried out at an optional time.

In a word, the transplantation of fresh embryo or frozen embryo is considered according to the patient’s own situation, so it is not necessary to pay too much attention to compare the success rate, so as not to affect his own state but not conducive to pregnancy.

Only one of our sisters who took eggs at the same time met the requirements, and we all wished her a good pregnancy.

Face it calmly and prepare for frozen embryo transfer patiently.

Knowing that the transplantation would be postponed, I was very calm. The frozen embryo was transplanted as soon as the frozen embryo was transplanted. There were still 3 months to relax and adjust for me to prepare better physical conditions for a success. When I heard that I could go home immediately without an injection, I felt that the whole person was lighter and in a much better mood.

Although the freezing and thawing processes are more or less harmful to embryos, embryos that survive these [tests] are generally considered to be stronger, that is, the freezing and thawing processes of embryos actually play a certain role in selecting.

Qualified embryos that have withstood the test and are selected often have stronger implantation and development abilities, so don’t worry too much.

The outcome of my test tube cycle treatment was: 14 eggs and 11 embryos were obtained, including 2 abnormal fertilization, 3 unfertilized, and 9 remaining usable embryos, which were frozen in 4 tubes, 6 8 cells and 2 7 cells respectively, all of which were regarded as high-quality embryos.

This calculation is equivalent to my 4 chances of transplant and conception, so my confidence has greatly increased and I believe that I will soon have my own baby.

Dear frozen babies, mother will take you home in 3 months!
