A Mother’s True Test Tube Story (14): Pregnant, Finally Pregnant!

The transplant was successful!

I don’t want to write about the so-called [experience] after a successful transplant, because everyone feels different and doesn’t have to pursue the same. I don’t want to mislead other waiting sisters or even shake their calm hearts because of my unique feelings. You know, anxiety and uneasiness are not conducive to implantation.

Since the transplant, my heart has been very calm. In the first 8 days, except for eating and going to the toilet, I basically lay on the bed. When I was tired, I just got out of bed and walked around to see the scenery in the distance.

Like the author, it is not advisable to lie down most of the time after transplantation. It is suggested that everyone should have normal activities after proper rest, otherwise it is not good for the body.

In the process of doing test-tube baby, the patient paid a lot, and the mood of worrying about the failure of embryo implantation caused by insufficient rest after transplantation is understandable. Therefore, appropriate rest is not too much. As for the degree of appropriate rest, it varies from person to person, with no increase in mental pressure and psychological burden as the premise, but bedridden must be avoided.

I would like to criticize myself seriously here, because I made a very risky move afterwards.

On the 6th night after the transplant, when I got home, I did not secretly use the early pregnancy test paper to test it according to the doctor’s request (confused, I actually did not use morning urine …).

Fortunately, I saw a gray and pink watermark on the test paper. I am pregnant!

The first B-ultrasound examination after transplantation

On the 34th day after transplantation, the first B-ultrasound was performed. The results showed that there were two gestational sac, one elliptical and one long.

Because the hCG on the 12th day is 938, I have already had the psychological preparation for twins, so I was not particularly surprised when I knew it. There are embryo tissues in the gestational sac, the size is 7 * 5 mm, 8 * 5 mm respectively, and there are yolk sac and primitive cardiac canal pulsation.

Generally, blood is drawn on the 14th day after transplantation to test pregnancy, and B-ultrasound is performed on the next 20 days to check embryo condition, so the first B-ultrasound is performed on the 34th day.

Because the estradiol on the 12th day was very low, it was only 141, so I didn’t feel at ease. I went to have another review now. Later, the value was normal, and finally I felt at ease.

The most troublesome thing after transplantation is to play progesterone. I let my husband do it for me, so I worry a lot. But my husband did not dare to play too scattered, only concentrated in the range of a dollar coin, unfortunately there was a lump. Later, I simply played only once a day, plus the passage of time, the symptoms slowly eased.

At this time, I what didn’t care. I only had uncontrollable joy in my heart: I am pregnant with twins!

Write at the end

I really thank you very much for coming to see my test-tube experience. The original intention of writing these words was to give some small help to the sisters who are watching, experiencing test-tube babies and other infertile sisters.

I didn’t expect to know many good sisters in this process. I was happy for their success and worried about their temporary failure. I sincerely hope everyone can get good pregnancy.

Today, my twin baby has reached 36 weeks and can give birth at full term in one week. During my pregnancy, I was still very relaxed. Except for belly spending, I was in good condition, especially every B-ultrasound examination showed that the two babies were almost the same size and met the standard of gestational weeks. I was really very, very grateful!

I wish everyone peace and success and an early pregnancy!
