Don’t panic! These five [gynecological diseases] may not need to be treated at all!

Many women may have encountered such situations:

At ordinary times, I feel quite good, but gynecological examination found a lot of [gynecological diseases], such as cervical erosion, pelvic effusion, ovarian cyst… one by one sounds particularly scary!

In fact, some situations are not as serious as everyone imagined, but some unscrupulous hospitals and drug manufacturers have made a lot of noise, as if there would be big problems without immediate treatment. Let’s talk about them one by one.

I. Cervical Erosion

Rumor: Cervical erosion is a serious gynecological disease, which may develop into cervical cancer.

Truth: Most cervical erosion is a physiological change caused by the rise of estrogen level, which is a normal manifestation. Without treatment, girls need not be afraid to hear the word.

Although cervical inflammation, some cervical neoplasia and even cervical cancer also show symptoms of cervical erosion, it cannot be said that cervical erosion causes these problems.

What to do: If cervical erosion is found, it cannot be said in general that it cannot be treated or not treated. After further medical history and examination, if there is a disease, it is necessary to [treat the disease] instead of the so-called [treat cervical erosion].

二、盆腔积液

Rumor: Pelvic effusion can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, etc., which need treatment.

Truth: The organs in the pelvic cavity and abdominal cavity will secrete some liquid, which plays a role in lubrication and protection. It is a normal physiological manifestation. As long as there is no other abnormality, there is no need to make a fuss when B-ultrasound finds a small amount of pelvic effusion.

Pelvic inflammation, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cyst rupture and other conditions may cause pathological pelvic effusion, but the amount is generally large, and may be accompanied by abdominal distension and pain, menstrual disorder and even infertility.

What to do: Don’t blindly use drugs! If it is physiological pelvic effusion, even if the girl takes the medicine for more than half a year, there will still be it… If it is pathological pelvic effusion, it should be diagnosed according to the specific reasons and clinical manifestations, and then the next treatment should be carried out.

3. Ovarian Cyst

Rumor: Ovarian cyst will develop into ovarian cancer.

Truth:In the process of follicle forming corpus luteum after ovulation, the ovary will have physiological cyst, but it will shrink and disappear during menstruation.

Even pathological ovarian cysts are benign tumors in most cases. Only a small part of ovarian cysts are malignant tumors, which are mostly found in new ovarian cysts after menopause.

What to do:If it is considered to be a physiological cyst, it can be reexamined next month.

If it is pathological, it is also necessary to judge whether the next operation is needed according to the specific situation. The operation plan should also comprehensively consider the age of the patient, the condition of the cyst, whether there is a need for childbirth, etc.

Generally, drugs alone have little effect on ovarian tumors. Don’t believe in what [magic drugs]. As a result, treatment is delayed.

4. Hyperplasia of mammary glands

Rumor: Hyperplasia of mammary glands can lead to breast

Truth: Clinically, 95% of breast lobular hyperplasia is simple hyperplasia and will not become cancerous.

In a menstrual cycle, when the estrogen level in the body rises, it will stimulate the breast and make him in a state of hyperplasia and congestion. However, after the estrogen level drops rapidly, the breast tissue cannot completely return to its previous appearance, so every time it is stimulated, the breast tissue becomes thicker. This is a normal physiological change, and many women of childbearing age have found it in physical examination.

If girl, you are under great pressure recently, lose your temper and eat estrogen-containing supplements indiscriminately, it may lead to hyperplasia of mammary glands, but in the end it is still because your breast tissue is sensitive to sex hormones.

How to do: Although most of the hyperplasia of mammary glands will not become cancerous, it is also uncomfortable to suffer from distending pain. It is suggested that girls work and rest regularly, eat reasonably, and do not eat supplements containing estrogen.

If you need to take estrogen-containing drugs, tell your doctor about your hyperplasia of mammary glands and let the doctor consider it when taking drugs.

In addition, women under 40 years old have an annual color Doppler ultrasound examination and women over 40 years old have an annual color Doppler ultrasound + molybdenum target examination, which can detect hidden dangers as early as possible.

5. HPV infection

Rumor: HPV infection can lead to cervical cancer.

Truth: HPV is human papillomavirus, and more than 90% of cervical cancer patients are infected with HPV.

If you are infected with HPV, the risk of cervical cancer will naturally be higher, but it cannot be said that you will definitely get cervical cancer. Just like driving at ordinary times, you must first come into contact with the car before you can encounter an accident, but it cannot be said that people who come into contact with the car will have an accident.

In fact, most people have been infected with HPV, but even what does not do it. Generally, 90% ~ 95% of HPV virus will be automatically eliminated by the human immune system within 1 ~ 2 years. According to statistics, about 80% of adult Americans will be infected with HPV at least once in their life, and the proportion in China will not be very low.

There are more than 100 types of HPV viruses, most of which do not cause any disease. If they cause disease, the most common is hand and foot warts. There are 13 more common high-risk types of HPV that may cause cervical cancer and can be transmitted through the reproductive tract.

What to do: HPV examination can be combined with cervical scrapes for joint screening to improve the sensitivity of cervical precancerous lesions diagnosis.

Must require to go to a regular hospital. If HPV infection is found, follow the doctor’s advice, cervical smear should be made, cervical smear should be made, colposcopy should be made, colposcopy should be made.

In addition, HPV testing is not recommended for women under 30. Moreover, there is currently no treatment for HPV itself. If someone tells you that you can directly eliminate HPV with drugs, this is definitely a hoax.
