Instant noodles and quick-frozen dumplings are not nutritious? The health truth of [convenience food] is…

Science and technology change the world, lazy people promote development!

Behind all the inventions and creations in the world, I’m afraid there is a force contributed by lazy people.

Dr. Clove counted it for everyone, because there were lazy people, so we had it:

Frozen dumplings/steamed buns, you can eat hot dumplings in a few minutes;

Dehydrated vegetables can be served without time to buy vegetables.

Thick soup treasure, cooking soup time out of the province;

… …

Is it full of gratitude? It is a convenient food, which facilitates the life of our modern people.

However, [laziness] often requires a price, such as nutrition. Let nutritionist Gu Chuanling tell us how to eat.

Instant noodles can also produce good nutrition.

[I have eaten instant noodles, why do I care about nutrition? ]

This is a good and reasonable remark, but there is no way to refute it… that also needs to be refuted.

Instant noodles are notoriously high in oil and salt.

    The salt content of a bucket of instant noodles (85g flour cake and 27g seasoning bag) is 6.6 g (1.8 g flour cake and 4.8 g seasoning bag), which has exceeded the recommended limit of 6g per person per day. The fat content is 21.6 g (17.1 g flour cake and 4.5 g seasoning), and the recommended intake of cooking oil per person per day is only 25-30g.

Flour cakes are usually fried, which is easy to oxidize to produce lipid peroxides that accelerate body aging, and B vitamins are almost completely lost.

But this is not so terrible, as long as you don’t eat it often, you can eat it with nutrition:

1. Only 1/4 of the seasoning bags are enough;

2. Accompanied by tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, marinated eggs, spiced beef, etc.;

3. Drink less soup.

Frozen dumplings/steamed buns

It can be said that the nutrition retention is the best among common convenience foods. It takes 15 minutes to freeze at minus 30 ~ 35 ℃, and then it is placed at minus 18 ℃. Nutrients are not easily lost in this process.

It’s just that compared with ordinary homemade dumplings, the salt and grease of quick-frozen dumplings are slightly higher. Do you remember the oil slick on the boiled dumpling soup?

A little advice:

1. Try to buy those closest to the production date, with complete packaging and uniform appearance and texture;

2. If there is obvious cracking, deformation, adhesion or more frost in the packaging bag, there may be the problem of repeated thawing and freezing, which will affect the texture and taste of food and is not recommended for purchase.

Instant rice

Convenient rice can be stored at room temperature for more than several months after being sterilized and resealed at high temperature.

When eating, only microwave high-fire heating is required for 1-1.5 minutes, or boiling water is added into the pan for heating for 2-3 minutes, or heating is carried out by using the self-provided heating bag, which is especially convenient.

The ingredients of instant rice are usually potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, diced chicken, pig and beef, etc. There are basically no green leafy vegetables, mainly because they are afraid that the yellow of green leafy vegetables will affect the appearance of the rice. At the same time, vitamins are often lost a lot.

A little advice:

If you eat instant rice occasionally, match it with green leafy vegetables or lettuce salad.

Semi-finished vegetables

Green bamboo shoots fried diced meat, mung bean sprouts fried half a kilo, leeks fried pork tenderloin, kung pao chicken, fish-flavored shredded meat… The required ingredients are washed and cut well, even the condiments are matched well, delivered directly to the door, stir-fried in a pan according to the prompt method, and can be eaten immediately.

However, the cut vegetables are directly exposed to the air, and even if the cold chain transportation is ensured throughout the process, changes such as vitamin loss and phenolic oxidation are easy to occur.

A little advice:

Occasionally, when you are lazy, you can choose semi-finished vegetables. At ordinary times, try to buy vegetables, pick vegetables, wash vegetables, cut vegetables and stir-fry by yourself. Practice makes perfect.

Convenient seasonings such as thick soup treasure

The instructions for the use of a thick soup treasure read: two bowls of water + chicken hairs + preserved eggs + one box of chicken-flavored thick soup treasure will give you soup chicken hairs.

The soup has a strong chicken flavor, but it is not equal to chicken. The protein content in a box is only 0.4 g..

Worse still, a box of thick soup contains 2 grams of salt, accounting for one-third of a person’s daily salt intake.

A little advice:

When cooking or cooking soup with thick soup treasure, pay attention to the matching of meat and vegetable ingredients to ensure rich dietary fiber and protein. At the same time, reduce the amount of thick soup treasure by half, and do not add additional condiments such as salt, monosodium glutamate and raw soy sauce.
